Could you tell us about a specific project you’re working on at CLS that makes you proud?

Aviwe: One of the most fulfilling projects I was involved in was a metocean study aimed at understanding and forecasting the oceanographic and meteorological conditions offshore Namibia. This project was essential for planning future offshore installations and ensuring the safety, sustainability, and efficiency of maritime operations.
The primary goal of the metocean project was to collect and analyse data on various oceanographic and atmospheric parameters, such as wave height, current speed and direction, water temperature, wind speed, and atmospheric pressure.

The metocean project was a remarkable experience that not only enhanced my professional capabilities but also deepened my appreciation for the complexities of the marine environment. The knowledge and skills I gained from this project continue to inform my work, and the sense of accomplishment from contributing to such a significant project remains a highlight of my career.
